A new project I have been working on…
Here are a few quick snapshhots of some of the projects I worked on while at Vintage Material Supply Co. A lot of tables for Whole Foods, and even more doors for a private residence. I enjoyed working for the guys there, great people.

The cabinets are completed! The pulls have not been finalized yet, and Chap and Maura still have a bit of work to do once I leave Austin. They are having it reupholstered, and will be finishing some of the details, such as the pulls and leather straps that will hold the hatchet to the side cabinet. This project has been awesome, a lot was learned along the way. Now my part is done and I...
All three cabinets are now assembled and the last parts to build are the three doors left and the small face that covers the bottom part of the large bench in the back. Another quick photo update. Small folding table is done, cabinets are next…

Some quick photo updates of the VW progress…
More bus progress; panels are all cut and fitted, roof panel has been routed, seamed, glued and assembled. Time to start on the table and cabinets…
The bus is now completely gutted and floor has been scraped and primed. Most of the panels on the far side were rotted and blistered from a leak in the middle windows. Plywood has been purchased and once the floor is painted the panels will start to get cut and fit…

I have recently started a project to re-design and build out the interior of a 1970 VW Riviera bus. I have been toying with different design concepts, but have approached them with a very simple aesthetic and straight-forward functionality. The idea of building out an interior that will be used while traveling around the country intrigues me quite a bit. I have been wanting to tackle a project...
